In this session I will show how the next ERPAL 3 version will be developed built on Drupal Commerce. As Drupal Commerce has much of the "financial functionality" we need in ERPAL and provides a very flexible base for professional requirements in enterprise applications, ERPAL 3 will inherit this incredible flexibility and extend it by domain specific components. Whereas ERPAL 2 (the current version) is a very specific distribution for service providers and software development companies with heavy project management functionality, ERPAL 3 will be rather a base distribution with base functionality building the "CRM-request-offer-order-invoice" workflow and provide a plattform to match your individual enterprise application needs. The CRM component will be based on CRM Core which is a "Commerce like CRM" framework based on the philosophy of the current ERPAL version. Besides the integration of these big modules, ERPAL 3 will be heavily based on the entity system as well as on rules to build it on Drupal best-practises keeping the flexibility we love in Drupal. With ERPAL 3 it will be possible to build high flexible enterprise applications and ERP systems without coding.
What you will learn
